This informative session designed for parents will review the characteristics, including early risk factors, of dyslexia and what to do if you suspect your child may have dyslexia or another language-based learning disability. The referral and evaluation process required by federal statutes in the public schools will be reviewed briefly, as well as where to attain a private psycho-educational evaluation.
